Every LLC letter follows a member of the fictional Laine family, a lineage of adventurers and explorers who traveled all over the world throughout history. Through these double-sided letters, you'll experience major world events in dozens of different decades, through the eyes of someone living through that time!

Every Historic Letter includes beautiful hand-drawn illustrations, giving readers a real look at the sights and experiences the Laine family might have gone through. This art will give examples of the landscapes, architecture, foods, and fashions seen throughout the world through history!

This letter is written by head LLC historian Alex Cartwright, and includes a deeper look into the Historic Letter! It will contain extra details and bonus information on the time and place the letter features! In addition, every Society Letter will contain three vocabulary words from the Historic Letter, along with their meanings!

Besides the illustrations and letters, every search envelope will also include the extras, or little things to encourage further interest and investigation! These range from recipes to game instructions to snippets of poems- and beyond!
