When can I expect my letters to arrive?

Letters are sent out on the first of every month (excluding Sundays and holidays, in which case they will be mailed to next day)!

What age range is it intended for?

Our hope is that the information provided in the letters is managable and interesting for all ages! However, in the spirit of historical context, some of the words used in the letters are quite long. Both the historical and society letters should be around the average ten-year-old reading level.

Can I buy previous letters?

Yes you can! The same letter is sent out to all subscribers every month, but if you miss a month and want to catch up on the story, you can order all (or part of) the backlog!

What is the order deadline?

Since we send the letters out as a group we only take orders for the upcoming month up to the twentieth. If you place your order after the twentieth, your subscription with begin the subsequent month.

Can I use the letters for teaching?

Yes! Every Lost Letter is written intentionally with teachers in mind, both homeschooling parents and those in a traditional classroom. The letters are researched and written carefully to provide as much factual information as possible, while still keeping them interesting!`

Where do the historical letters come from?

The historical letters, like the society letters, are all written by Emma (Learn more here). However, to keep the Lost Letter Club magic alive, the idea is that the historical letters are actively being recovered by LLC associates.
